If knowledge is power, Howard Gunstock’s the switch.
As a multi-award-winning strategist, communicator and CEO of Carbon Kapture, his mission is simple: to empower as many people as possible with the knowledge and solutions they need to help restore biodiversity, minimise waste and pollution, and mitigate the effects of man-made climate change.
Howard’s widely recognised for his natural ability to translate complex science into digestible chunks, and is sought after because he makes obscure solutions obvious.
And nothing brightens his day more than hearing the pennies drop in people’s minds. That’s why he’ll never settle for anything less than Ah! I get it now!

A note from Howard…
That certainly rings true for me, at least.
I once cut my teeth in sales, marketing and music before pivoting into HR and corporate learning and development. Now I’m a climate science communicator, and CEO of a pioneering carbon capture company.
You see, over the years, I’ve voluntarily absorbed hundreds of PhD theses and tonnes of literature on climate science, ocean health, and ecology. I was fascinated – and still am.
And when you’re fascinated by something, you can’t help but share it. I wrote dozens of social media posts about what I’d learned that week, and people loved them.
So much so, in fact, that companies started messaging me privately. They needed help understanding and overcoming the hurdles on their road to sustainability, and straightforward advice on how they could help slow climate change without being bombarded by long-winded lingo or 80-page reports.
And that’s why I set up Sustain:Able.
I’m here to empower you to talk with confidence about the science behind climate change, and the solutions we can implement to address it.
Because achieving net zero isn’t all about facts and figures – it’s about understanding the levers you need to pull to get where you need to go. Not just now, but continually.
